Malta’s National Lottery plc chooses IGT for its games

The National Lottery plc, which is a subsidiary of the IZI group, has entered into agreements for both games and software. The companies chosen by the National Lottery of Malta will be EveryMatrix and the famous IGT ( International Game Technology ).

The concession to operate in the Maltese archipelago was granted to National Lottery plc, it will be the first Maltese company to run lotteries in 18 years.

EveryMatrix will adopt its iGaming solution “CasinoEngine” through IGT’s Aurora Anywhere.

These are the words of EveryMatrix CEO Ebbe Groes :

“We are very proud to be able to support National Lottery plc in this way, we believe that the benefits offered by our system will enable the national lottery to safely channel Maltese players away from illegal or abusive secondary lotteries.”

The news comes just as Malta has been removed after one year from the Grey List by the Financial Action Task Force.
